Bio
Andrew Murray Dunn
Andrew is a student and teacher* at the intersection of human development and innovation, devoted to supporting tech and business leaders in centering wisdom in their product, organization, and personal lives.
Andrew holds 10+ years of early stage startup operations experience, most notably in stewarding Siempo: a pioneering Public Benefit Corporation that developed an award-winning, open source, humane smartphone interface. He served as a key node in the early humane technology space through writing (avrahome.substack.com), speaking, initiating the Digital Wellness Collective industry trade association, and leading the Foundations course at Center for Humane Technology. Andrew has also advised, coached, and invested in startups and nonprofits in this and adjacent spaces working to support the flourishing of life for all.
He has contributed to entrepreneurship education reform through teaching a course on Innovation & Collaboration at MAST Academy and speaking at Wharton Business School, NYU, Mozilla Responsible AI, Transformative Technology Academy; impact investing through convening circles of investors thinking differently about capital at Nexus, Family Office Association, Keep Families Giving and Strategic Impact Cohort; politics through co-activating One Nation Party USA (now Independent National Union): a new American political party focused on systems change; and theological innovation through initiatives at the edges of Judaism.
Andrew started his career working in operations roles for early stage startups in hospitality, fin-tech, and logistics, most notably at Flexport ($10b+) where he was an early employee who activated and led the training, learning and development side of the org.
He studied Entrepreneurship and Operations & Information Management at UPenn/Wharton, Marketing at TechStarts Startup Institute, Eco-Theology and Decolonization at Sequoia Samanvaya, and Leadership and Awakening at Luminous Awareness Institute.
*teacher - I am very much a student, with no illusions of mastery that would qualify me to effectively teach tech ethics, while also having some unique experience to humbly offer insight from.
