Launching the Next Generation of Philanthropy, Austin, TX, February 2020
We brought indigenous women leaders in Texas together with leading women philanthropists, entrepreneurs and investors in a dialogue on the future of philanthropy at the game-changing conference hosted by the Keep Families Giving Foundation. We also introduced our work and publication on Ecological Family Histories.
NEXUS Latin America Convergence, Quito, Ecuador, October 2019.
Might indigenous-led enterprises and initiatives benefit from learning from the sustainable livelihoods, including agriculture, forests and fabric, from India? That was a question we came to NEXUS in Quito, Ecuador with in October 2019. "Yes" was the enthusiastic response during our international Rights of Nature Economy workshop co-hosted with our friends at JumpScale. And the learning is mutual and continuous.
Parliament of World Religions, Toronto, Canada, November 2018
Collaborated on sessions on the meaning of Dharma and sustainability; religion and climate change; regenerative livelihoods and sacred spaces. Co-hosted interactive dialogues in our first booth.
Launched the publications, “From the Darkness: the Prison Industrial Complex, Climate Change, Family Histories and Spiritual Encounters” and, “Dharma Unplugged.”
May All Beings Breath Clean Air, 2016 - 2017
We co-initiated this collaboration to address the intersection of air pollution, spiritual breathing practices of Indic spiritual traditions and farmers’ contribution to pollution via agricultural burning in India. We hosted a series of research trips, workshops and dialogues in India and Germany, including at the foothills of the Himalayas.

Co-hosted with Quaker Earthcare Witness’ director Shelley Tanenbaum amidst 80 acres of redwoods, this program interwove social justice, indigenous, and ecological dimensions of today’s challenges. We sought wisdom from history, one another and from the redwoods. Primarily for Quakers and fellow travelers.
