“Apocalypse” means “revelations” or “unveiling.”
It is often associated with drastic, “world turned upside down,” kinds of change.
The “end of times”: the end of an era.
So.
Here we are.
Apocalypse Wisdom Circles
At the outset of Covid-19 and the global quarantine, we started bringing people together in free, small open circles. Because we know that in apocalyptic times, sense making and collective wisdom matters far more than so-called “experts.”
Now, we are creating this opportunity to be part of a consistent, steady circle (aka Mastermind) through what promises to be a tumultuous Summer of 2020 that is networked with other circles.

Apocalypse Wisdom
Home Circles
A Networked Mastermind
Join a small circle that meets weekly for the momentous and transformative Summer of 2020.
Deepen into the question, what is being unveiled during this time? How am I, how are we, being led?
Be connected to other small circles meeting with similar intentions.
It is a circle with all the power of a Mastermind, like a grove of Sequoias.
Networked to other groves, like the mycelium of the forest. Rooted.
What People Are Saying….
“I don’t know what I was expecting, but I was surprised by how quickly we went so deeply. I felt seen, heard, and valued, and I was able to raise spiritual questions of concern to me and receive some critical food for thought.”
— Eleanor B.
“I spend a lot of time on zoom, and I don’t find it nourishing. This is one of the most nourishing spaces, online or offline, that I know. I recommend this space to my friends and colleagues again and again. ”
— Isabel M.
“Sara Jolena is so gifted! And she attracts the most wonderful people into her circles. I was able to share and feel refreshed. I’ve carried the ideas, poems, songs and stories shared with me for weeks!”
— Eryn P.
“Transformation happens in small groups.”
— Gloria Steinam
Program Details
o Limited to 6 participants in each circle
Maximum 60 minutes of assignments a week; the big work is in living your life and listening more deeply. Assignments will be held on the course page hosted by our friends at Ruzuku, which you have access to upon registration.
o Meeting on zoom with a strong emphasis on low-screen time engagement.
We encourage ways of engaging on zoom that de-emphasize staring at the screen! Bring craft, your sketch book, comfy pillows, take us outside, sit in your garden, nurse your babies, string some prayer beads. You will probably want to take notes, so walking might not be the best fit, and we do request your presence, but you are an embodied being, your body’s knowledge matters, and really who wants more screen time?
o Close to the June Full Moon (Friday June 5).
Participants will be grouped into specific times based on their common availability.
o Multi-dimensional and Meta-Knowledge
Incorporates: systems thinking, mind maps, sensuality, eros, silence, myth and magic, activism/advocacy, earth-knowledge, medicinal knowledge art/music knowledge, dream work, craft knowledge, breath work.
o Emergent pedagogy
The direction, practices, readings, exercises, themes, and actions for groups will emerge from the needs and gifts of the participants themselves. I have taught a dozen courses using this pedagogical style and it is exceptionally effective.
o Included: 1-1 coaching call on a topic of your choice with Sara Jolena.
Value: $150
o Community Gathering
At least one form of integrating the knowledge across circles and helping the circles learn from and see one another.
o De-colonial Approach
We recognize that while this moment is certainly unique, it is hardly humanity’s first experience of “apocalypse”! Background in anti-oppression work is immensely helpful. If you have not taken our ReMembering for Life course, which re-originates climate change into the histories of colonization and the witch hunts, I will ask you to do some reading prior to starting with us. Understanding some of the longer histories of this moment is absolutely critical.
